My 67-year-old mom got a call from this number today. Recording apparently talking about a free medical alert system. My mom is independent and mobile - it's as if they assume if you're over 62 or 65 you're in a bad way and need one of those "I've fallen and I can't get up" systems. The funny thing is that the number on her caller ID has the same area code as we have, yet it had the "1" in front of it like you'd need for dialing non-local calls.
It just said "wireless caller" on my ID. I didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer. "Attention seniors," huh? Well, attention scammer: I now have that phone number and will be reporting it.
