I get calls from these people all the time. I have no outstanding debts and I don't have cable. They keep changing their phone number. I've received calls from: (718) 569-7956; (732) 941-0190; (516) 323-2641. I have blocked all these numbers. With VoiP, you seem to be able to spoof your numbers and ID anytime you want to fool the callee into answering.
I received a call saying I owe money to optimum, I asked them for the address and account number. I then told them this was not my debt. I researched the address and it doesn't even exist. I called optimum and they told me this was not an actual account number and that I do not owe them anything. I looked up the agency CBHV and the person who answered was rude and unprofessional. Their went into the website and sent CBHV an email with my concerns. This is surely someone trying to steal your identity. So I set up a block on this number.
