I get calls from these people all the time. I have no outstanding debts and I don't have cable. They keep changing their phone number. I've received calls from: (718) 569-7956; (732) 941-0190; (516) 323-2641. I have blocked all these numbers. With VoiP, you seem to be able to spoof your numbers and ID anytime you want to fool the callee into answering.
Well, what do you know. They just called again, but this time from 718-569-7956. 57 minutes between calls. Guess I should expect a call from 732-941-0190 in about an hour.
This number called from 4 different numbers in the matter of 30 mins.. They pissed me off asking for my social#. They think that we are stupid enough to give it to them. I know I don't have debt and I live in Florida why would I have Cablevision I don't live in NJ, NY, and other places that Cablevision supports. I told them if they call back I'll fine them because I called a company that deals with peddlers, and telemarketing. They said if they call back they'll get a fine I told them that and never heard from them since! Wait... They are calling me right now, looks like somebody's getting fined
