Answered the call after they left a VM. He said he was from the Treasury Department. I told him...The Treasury department would never call, they would send certified mail. He hung up on me after the third insult about his mother.

these scammers need to find a new job! we are not ALL gullible to fall for their crap
Just received a call and left a voicemail that ignoring the call was an intentional criminal offense.
Could hardly hear the broken up message and the guy didn't leave a name. Something about a US Treasury offense.
I'm sure if I'm in trouble,. they'll find me without calling my cell phone.
I received the same call as everyone else here. I picked up and hung up immediately, before the recording could end. I have received about 20 of these calls from a lot of different numbers over the past year. Yesterday, the same call came in on a different number, but used an artificial voice like Siri. Yeah, that fooled me, LOL. I blocked it, but after blocking 350 numbers over the past year, it is clear that I can never block enough numbers to stop the insanity.
