Like my name, I've stopped blocking these numbers. These IRS scammers never, ever use the same number twice. I didn't answer, I never answer, but for those of you that do, and I absolutely do not recommend answering ever, tell them you've reaching the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Department, may I have your name? Maybe that might work. I've never tried it. P.S. 800notes....you need a classification for scammer. There's just so many of them these days and when reading previous comments, people are classifying this number as debt collectors. Nothing could be further from the truth.
This is a SCAM. 1st clue - IRS or Treasury Dept does NOT make phone calls. Read up on this scam on their government website. 2nd clue - The middle eastern accent is a dead giveaway.
NEVER pick up on calls from unknown numbers. REPORT then BLOCK numbers like this. Or simply IGNORE them. Do NOT allow yourself to become a victim.
