I get this call everyday and different #'s this man also calls himself John, he is very pushy and he know a lot of my medical info, it peed me off noing hippa laws. I told him my personal wasn't none of his business! I called my congressman, the next step is the local DA. Because I look it up where they are calling from. I will press charges , we all need to find one of those lawyers that do a large group of people sueing one company! That ought to stop them!
Me too multiple calls on various numbers now, hard to remember all the numbers so far if I can remember the number I just don't pick up. From State of WA and NY sometimes TX.How can you get them to stop. Brick wall analogy is a good one.
Same problem. Easy fix is to search "Call & Message Blocking" or the name of your cell phone carrier and "how to block a number". I have Verizon Wireless and they let you block five numbers for free, which I imagine other carriers probably do too.
I received 2 calls fromn 516-422-0111. One at 10:35 a.m. and another at 3.39 p.m. I do not answer calls that are not in my address book. (cell phone) I get numerous calls from strange numbers. I simply don't answer but am annoyed that I get them. I am also on the DNC list.
A month of multiple-daily calls from Indian-accented male giving various names insisting we have had a vaginal mesh installed (not so) but never says what they want to sell, alleges some medical claim we must give info. Likely phishing for SSNs etc and are undeterred by any civil plea to cease and desist. When asked for a supervisor, we get some other voice on the phone that takes a distinctly threatening tone. When confronted with the criminal nature of their harassment (ORS # 166.090 (2005)) he has cited our address and threatened to come here to our home. Each of their 100 calls in the past 30 days deserves another $1000 fine; and as it did create fear, the threat to come do unnamed harm likely deserves jail. Come on, DOJ, whack that mole, make 'em bleed.
