Chick told me she represented Chase,Mastercard,American Express and Discover....I said how can you possibly manage all the credits cards out there....and wouldn't they give me a lower rate before she did....i also asked her what procedure she uses to do this?? She got quiet as death itself.....lmao SCAMMERS 4 SURE
Reporting does no good; the robo calls are illegal, and if off shore not able to be easily prosecuted.......Blocking does good only as long as the spoofed number remains unchanged. These scammers do change their spoofed numbers frequently to get around call blocking. I guess I'm bitter too in that this is something invasive in my life that I have no control over; and I don't like to operate like that.
Also got a call from this number. There is a disconnect between the FTC and FCC. FTC regulates the do not call list, which allows you to register both mobile and land lines. However, the FCC being the ones who make the actions to prevent these callers doesn't acknowledge mobile phones being a part of the do not call list. They do however see all solicitations to mobile phones as being unlawful with or without the DNC list. can make complaints at FCC.gov
