(516) 453-5658 called at 1:30pm today, recorded message about lowering IRS debt. I usually wait, hit 1 or 0 and try talking to them to take me off their list or at least find out who they are. I waited a while and they wouldn't give a connection number or callback number, not sure how they are a business if they don't let you even talk to them. 99% sure it's a scam, please report this number if they call you.
Actually if you have an Android Phone you can add the numbers to the reject list. Takes 2 seconds. When you have the number open instead of adding to your contats list just hit the menu button on the btoom of the phone and it will offer you the add to reject list option. You can add up to like 20 numbers. After while you can delete older ones to make room for new ones. Also if you have a Skype number you can block the numbers as well. I have at least 50 blocked on my skype phone.
