516-453-5658 Called me 12 times on all four lines. There ought to be a way to a way to sue these people for hurting my business. I make a living on phone calls and this is tying up my lines.
I answer, but do not say anything, and immediately hang up. This make the robo-caller think it's a bad number and it deletes it from the list. Ever since I started doing this I haven't gotten any more calls from this or any number I've done that to. Another suggestion is to answer and immediately press and hold the # key for a few seconds, then hang up. That is also supposed to delete your number from the robo-calling list. These things only work for the automatic dial robo calls. If a person is calling I tell them I'm on the do not call list and tell them never to call me again. They usually end up hanging up before I do and they don't call back.
Not bad enough that they are soliciting using robot recordings. They have the nerve to leave a voicemail if you don't answer. for people who pay per call on their cell phones this is an ATROCITY.
There are better call blockers out there which will block ANY number and/or block "anonymous, out of area, or no name" calls. You can block even an area code. If someone calls you and you don't want them to ever call you back, you just press a button.
You needn't buy another phone- all you need is caller ID for the blocker machine to work.
I use the Digitone's Call Blocker. There are others out there too.
