Calls and asks for the owner by name (Indian accent). If you say he's not available, they say 'I'll call back later.' And they do, sometimes several times a day. Ask who they are and what they are calling about. Say they are Merchant Cash and Credit-will NOT take no for an answer and they do not remove you from their calling list if you ask them. Downright rude and pushy with illegal practices.
I get more calls from Lenders than I do from friends family and md.s. What part of "My mortgage is paid off" is not clear to them ?? They contact me thru email and I ignore that too ( auto to junk folder)
It doesn't do any good. I used to fill out the lengthy, repetitive forms which generate several auto-emails explaining why they can't help and linking me to some other site which generates more auto-emails that also don't help. I think the FCC is a part of the problem. The DNC is a joke: the robo calls quadrupled after I submitted my 3 DNC phone numbers.
I'm so tired of these calls I told them to take me off there list but keep calling. Lender Company what are they crazy like I would give them any of my information I calls every day from Telemarketers. Telemarketing should be illegal.
