Got a call from a strong accented woman, claiming to be from the tech department, about warnings and alerts from my computer wanting me to turn it on. The call came in as "out of area" at 10:49pm. I told her the call was a fake and if there is a problem to call back during the afternoon or morning. I hung up.
516-864-5002 called me using my roomates last name and wanted to know if I was the owner of the computer. I told her she obviously didn't know me or she would know that wasn't my last name. I told her I was going to turn her into the authorities if she didn't quit trying to scam me and I ended the call. It is a crazy world when we can't enjoy our evening without a bitc? callinng trying to scam.

They repeatedly call back but there is never a person on the other end or you cannot hear them because there is such bad static. I finally had to block them on my cell phone.
Multiple calls.....Indian (India) accent. Asked him for his name; said "Robert".
Pretends to work for Microsoft.
Scam.....no way I'm letting him (or anyone else for that matter) into my computer.
