They called my land line.  They did not leave a message.  I never answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize.  Just another nuisance......Caller ID just reads, "MANHASSET NY"

A number that starts with 888 is a toll-free number.  It's the same as an 800 number.

That's the AREA CODE 888, not the PREFIX (exchange).

Caller ID came up "Healthy Living".  Called twice, no message.  Blocked caller #490 (two Panasonics), idiot call #991 (not including obvious mis-dials) since 5/2/13.  Caller ID "1" (100-000-0000) has called 70 times, including 12 in one day, 6 on another.  I also had to block my own scammed number as thrice caller ID indicated that I received a call from IT!

You can set up the phone to automatically talk when removed from the charger.

I keep all caller IDs, dates and number of calls on a spreadsheet.  There are several numbers that called only once long ago (probably a misdial), and I will be recycling those numbers.  To delete or edit a number, {menu}#217 and scroll to that number.

Like everyone - you answer and no one is there.
