Just got the call about a Police benefit...a supposed kit will be coming in the mail, but they need to know a minimum $$ commitment before they send the kit....SCAM
Based on the other posts it sounds like this is another one of those wannabe police charities. In any case I do not trust any operation that calls claiming to be a charity. These scam operations tend to pass themselves off as a charity in order to get around the do not call registry.
SOMETHING SOON HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE IDIOTS -- WE CAN SEND A MAN TO THE MOON (PROUD AMERICAN), WHY CAN WE NOT STOP THIS HARASSMENT FROM SCAMMERS. MOST OF ALL, WHERE ARE ALL OUR REPRESENTATIVES IN GOVERNMENT AND WHEN WILL THEY TAKE THIS PROBLEM SERIOUSLY???
