I got a call today from this guy who identified himself as Dan Barton from Woodstock. He asked for the president by his first name, not his last. When I started grilling the guy about what was the nature of his call, etc. he came up with that he has spoken to him before and he was following up on some European shoes, size 42. Now, since my President is European, that was a pretty good strategy. I know the type of caller this is and I have been the "gatekeeper" for a long time. I always google the number to confirm legitamacy. Needless to say, the President isn't getting the message.
recieved same rude calls from this number..did a little research and found something very interesting..just so happens the owners of this company used to operate one of the biggest boiler rooms in ny..were arrested for stock fraud..and got away scott free becouse they had the money for quality representation..thir names are .Barry and Stephen Kiront name of the company is woodstock financial the firms keep changing names becouse of regilatory scrutiny (STOCK FRAUD)..FORMER FIRMS..STRATTON OAKMONT,MONROE PARKER,VTR AND BILTMORE SECURITIES...if u do get a call from these people please excersize caution...
This number calls repeatedly and always asks for the boss by what they assume is his abbreviated first name. That is my first clue it is not a legit call as they use the wrong name. When I say he is not in, they always hang up. I was able to go to my phone company and get a prpgram where I can add phone numbers to a list and those calls will not come through. Slick.
Obnoxious people - truly disgraceful behavior. "Steve" is constantly pestering me at my workplace and then again at home during dinner. Will notify their head office if I can find the info.
did some research as well, concerned is right. Just google stephen kiront and found he was involved in stock scam back in the 90s. Watch out for these guys there crooks.
