I got a call today from this guy who identified himself as Dan Barton from Woodstock. He asked for the president by his first name, not his last. When I started grilling the guy about what was the nature of his call, etc. he came up with that he has spoken to him before and he was following up on some European shoes, size 42. Now, since my President is European, that was a pretty good strategy. I know the type of caller this is and I have been the "gatekeeper" for a long time. I always google the number to confirm legitamacy. Needless to say, the President isn't getting the message.
A Bobby Eddleston called for my husband this morning. Since we have been bothered by other telemarketers, I where he was with and what it was about. He said "Woodstock" and he was returning my husbands call. I asked what my husband called about and he said , "He knows", and wouldn't tell me anything else. I said I could have my husband call him back and asked for his number. He said this number was a cell number and my husband had all the info to get back with him. I said OK and hung up. I then turned around and blocked this number through my telephone company. Hopefully they don't have other numbers they call from.
This guy has called my house phone and my cell phone asking for a person that don't own these phones.. The person he keeps asking for is my husband business partner . I have told him he doesn't live here then he wanted his contact number I told him I don't give out other peoples numbers.. When he called my cell phone today and again ask for my husband business partner I told him he is asking for the wrong person that owns this cell phone that he is calling.. I asked him not to call my cell phone again and that so and so does live here or this wasn't his phone.. He told ok and told my by so I will see if he stops calling my home and cell phone and asking for this guy ..
Just got this call today too. They asked for my husband. I told him he was not in and he was about to hang up. I asked who he was "Bobby". I asked what it was about "Just responding to his call earlier". He hung up. We get a lot of these kinds of calls. I am making a log of this one now too.
