Get some friends and record you yelling and threatening each other and nake sure someone yells "don't make me get the shotgun" and play it once you get a live person. It will scare the crap out of them and they will stop calling. Did domething like that years agovwith friends when someone kept calling my onr friends house anf couldnt grasp that they had the wrong number. Never called again after my other friend yelled "don't makr mr get the shot gun".
Which is precisely why the DoNotCall.gov is useless -- the most bothersome organizations are EXEMPT.
The exempt organizations must use the registry as a "who to call" list, because my junk calls tripled after signing up. But because they have good lobbyists, there's nothing I can do about it.
Even companies that are subject to FTC jurisdiction rarely see enforcement actions.
My phone system's block list is far more effective. I regret taking the time to sign up for Do Not Call.
