They keep calling various numbers here at work. They are apparently going down a list of numbers and don't realize the phone prefix they are calling is for state agencies only. Obviously a scam. It just comes up on Caller ID as Tombstone AZ.
Called here wanting to know the mileage of my car, and they were getting ready to close my account, and it was a courtesy call as the account was in default. My account is up to date. Gave no information to them. I asked her three times for the name of the company. Received two different answers, none of which I do business with. She wanted to transfer me to an account associate to clear up the "default". Told her no way and hung up.
Received call and didn't answer. No message left. Called number back and it was a robo voice that quickly says, "hello, this is Lisa. Thanks for calling me back. How are you?" at which point I hung up.
Has called me everyday for a week. I do not know anyone from Tombstone, AZ. Has left one message stating there is a warrant for my arrest in Arizona (which I have never been to). Wants me to return the call. I don't think so. There was only one message and the rest of the time I got no messages.
