They keep calling various numbers here at work. They are apparently going down a list of numbers and don't realize the phone prefix they are calling is for state agencies only. Obviously a scam. It just comes up on Caller ID as Tombstone AZ.
Has called me five times in the past two days. Always missed the calls until today, but no messages were ever left. She wanted to know the mileage on my car and said that my account with my insurance company was expiring. (I don't own a car). Hung up immediately. Caller always listed as being from Tombstone, AZ.
Person called from this number - Hi, this is a courtesy call from our company regarding the warranty on your call. We have mailed you several notices that this warranty was running out and am giving this courtesy call as one last chance to cover your vehicle. Never once asked for any particular individual nor did they state make/model of said car going out of warranty. When asked exactly whom they were seeking - no response so reminded them to remove my number from their list. Doubt they will - scam artist at work!
