They keep calling various numbers here at work. They are apparently going down a list of numbers and don't realize the phone prefix they are calling is for state agencies only. Obviously a scam. It just comes up on Caller ID as Tombstone AZ.
This number has called everyday for the past week. I've now blocked the number. I was receiving the same call from a slightly different number but same location of Az. maybe a month before. All same message about vehicle warranty being expired. I've also been getting non stop calls from around the country with the same subject of an expired vehicle warranty for at least the past year. Requested in several cases to be removed from their list, reported several of the numbers to the FCC and still they continue.
I received my very first call from them 6 minutes ago. They called twice the first time it went straight to my voicemail because I have do not disturb set on my phone from 9:30pm to 11:30 am for reasons like this unwanted calls interrupting my sleep. Luckily I've been up they called right after they got my voicemail again it popped up on my iPhone as Scam Likely in tombstone, az I have T-Mobile and scam likely is a new program that detects possible scam numbers before you answer. I am in AZ and I have been applying to new jobs so I thought it might be an employer googled the number first and here we are. I called the number *67 3 times it doesn't ring picks up no one says anything then hangs up.
They call often. If I don't pick up they leave no message. If I do they don't respond. Caller ID says: CPUSA. If you Google that, it comes up as: Communist Party USA. I highly doubt that is who is calling.
