Called around 8:30 pm. I said hello and they said my name..I said yes, and a woman introduced herself as Joy, said she was calling from Women's Cancer Research...asked could she mail me some info about donations...I said no and hung up.
No legitimate charity will ask you to purchase a gift card. These scammers for womens cancer does. This is NOT A REAL CHARITY FOR CANCER IT IS A SCAM!! Do not give these people any money or share any personal info. Hang up and block this number and watch out because they will call you using other numbers.
Answered the phone and they said my name. I answered "yes" before remembering the "yes" scams going on. Wanted a donation for women's cancer research. Wanted to talk about different levels of donation at which time I hung up.
