Been getting these calls for months. Use to be a 480 number only, but now they have a 520 number also. I get calls from both every day. Do-not-call-list complaint does nothing. I listened to the whole robocall this time and he asked me to press 1 if I wanted to participate. Got a bad connection to a real person, who I asked to quit #$*# calling me. She said yea sure, and hung up.
Robocall that begins "due to recent power company rate increases" (really? Which company?) at which point I hung up. I suspect it's an effort to sell you a new air conditioner or insulation or something, using claims of federal rebates for energy efficiency.
I learned years ago that when someone cold-calls me and says "have I got a deal for you", it is NOT a GOOD deal for me.
Besides, if they are willing to violate the do-not-call list law, what other laws might they be willing to break?
