So, if you got a call from this number, and you don't have Geiko, it may be that they misdialed, or have old information for one of their customers. You would possibly also get a call from this number if you were involved in an accident with someone who has Geiko.
Geico auto Insurance rep --- asked for the person who used to have my phone number and then asked for my name --I would not give my name -- seemed to be fishing
It is GEICO..
However, they are not fishing, they are not selling you anything, they are not telemarketing, and they are not a collections company..
They are giving you a courtesy call to let you know they have not received a payment and they are canceling your policy within days..
Don't avoid them, this is an honest courtesy call.. They're not harassing you like a collections company does..
I have them and I often wait to the last minute to pay them and I usually do, when they start calling me to remind me that they are about to cancel my policy..
