This post is an example of the fine intellectual abilities of those with computers and internet access. This phone number actually is Geicko, although not only for billing/collections. So, if you got a call from this number, and you don't have Geiko, it may be that they misdialed, or have old information for one of their customers. You would possibly also get a call from this number if you were involved in an accident with someone who has Geiko.
I just missed a call from 520-546-5200 on my cellphone, but do not have Geico insurance, have not witnessed an accident, and they didn't leave a voicemail message. I rarely give out my cell number. ???
I received a call from this number they left a claim number and I called it back they claim to be geico calling about the accident report I received July 14th! Did not receive no report was not in any accident nor did i witness one! I do not have Geico insurance told them it was a mistake & then they wanted my date of birth! Told them to pound sand. They said we cannot disclose anything without verifying something. I said doesnt matter you got the wrong person and I hung up on them. If they ever call again I will report them.
I received a call from Geico today and they left me no voice mail message on my phone. So I called the number back and it is the reception desk. I explained that I received a call from this number and I was calling it back. The Gentleman stated to me that it must of been the claims dept. He asked me if I have been insured with Geico or been in an accident, I let him know I have never had Geico or been in any accident in the last 15 years and that person had State Farm as I do also. He transferred me to Claims dept. I spoke with another gentlemen and asked me all the same info and gave him the phone number that was called and my name he searched his database and could not find any of my info. He apologized for the inconvenience and said it must of been a mis dial since no message was left and that he would put my number on a DNC list.
Granted I thought this was a scam at first but they were very nice about it and did not try to sell me anything or get any more personal information besides my name and the number they called.
i missed a call from 520-546-5200. they left a message saying it was geico and so i called it back to see what they wanted. they were just calling to inform me of a refund they owed me and after giving them my name and number and birthday (noncritical info) they told me the address they had on file which was correct for the time they were telling me. it was a legit call for me.
