He left me a voice mail and I had to listen to it three times before I could understand what he was saying. He gave his names as Mark Edwards. I would just love to scam him back.......
I had a voice-message this morning from this number. Didn't sound to me like an Indian accent (I am from India and I should know...:-)).
Anyways, here's the transcript of the voice-message:
"This message is intended for <my name> you know the very second you receive this message I need you all your return attorney off record to return the call. Issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Mark Davis and I'm calling you from IRS Internal Revenue Service Department and hotline to my reason-and(?) is 5302080698 five eight-eight(?) eight 5302080698. Don't disregard this message and do return the call as soon as possible before any legal litigation take place-against(?) you so goodbye and take care."
I just followed IRS instructions at http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Warns-of-Pervasive-Telephone-Scam, and filed a complaint with the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1
