Yes, you can submit a claim through the FBI website. It's quick and easy. I had the same person claiming the same thing. I submitted his ( name) the number that he called from and that I have several vmails from this person.
I got the same exact call from the same number just now from a male sounded like an Indian from India. He said he is from IRS. He said to call Mike Johnson the Senior Revenue Officer. He said it is regarding the tax we paid last time. I know we don't owe any tax.
Also received threatening call from this number claiming to be IRS and that I would be visited by local sherriffs and jailed , my bank accounts seized, car drivers license revoked etc etc for supposed incorrect tax filings from as far back as 2006. No other details were allowed to be given. Caller had heavy foreign accent. They had been calling for several weeks but I do not pick up phone when I cannot recognise who is calling. This time they left a threatening message which caused me to call back. Number traces to South Lake Tahoe. Have been advised that it probably is some sort of scam, but so far they have not asked for anything, perhaps that is coming. Have been advised to report call to my city police dept., which I have done. Recording of message on my machine claiming to be the IRS is still there if it can be used for any useful purpose
I Just got the call too.
Someone just called me and said that he was David Richardson from the IRS. Sounded like Apoo from the Simpsons. Said that he was from the IRS and that I had an issue with my taxes. He never did say what the issue was or where he was from. He never provided me with his contact number or account reference number or even his IRS employee number.
He just told me to call a person named James Miller at 530-208-9830.
Beware people!!
