Says Breast Cancer of America on caller id. I didn't answer and they left no message. What makes me suspicious is they called the previous day with a completely different number. 530 554-9588. I blocked both numbers.
I actually answered the call since they kept calling my line day after day. The woman identified herself as working for this professional fundraising company called "AC" something and asked to speak to the lady of the house. She said that they provided some sort of supplies (probably to women with breast cancer) and asked if it was ok for them to send me a pledge card. I told them not to get their hopes up because I'd never heard of them before, then I hung up.
didn't answer, no message, blocked them. callback gets a robo answer from an old lady sounding robot. this number is real at least. there are some scammers using the same caller ID but a different number 530-554-9588 that is a spoofed number blocked them too.
Received phone calls from 530-212-8263 with call ID of "BREAS CANCER AM" @ 7:40PM on May 12, 2016 (x2), 8:08PM on May 10, and 11:05AM on May 10. Answered twice but no one on the line. No message ever left. Also, received phone call from 530-554-9588 with same caller ID @ 8:18PM on May 11, 2016.
Calls ALL THE TIME to our business line.
You'd think they would give up, but no they rather be persistent and annoying.
Certainly not what a real breast cancer org would do
