Same here, but have called multiply times. I accidentally answered once :young girl Hispanic accent said she was collecting donations for Breast Cancer - I have my doubts! - I asked to be removed from their call list that was months ago and I'm still getting calls from this bogus "charity" I am a lung Cancer survivor and I would like to do some very unkind things to these "people" (I don't have a word to describe these A H's)
The best thing you can do is consider a call blocker. They start around $40 and you can get them online. So take that money that you didn't get scammed out of and put it to some good use, helping you stop folks like these. I use a call blocker and enjoy silence.
Calls about once a day without leaving a message. Caller ID says "Breas Cancer AM" as if it is for breast cancer, but clearly the T is missing from the first word and this phone number is not associated with any legitimate organization that I am aware of. Will be reporting to the national do not call registry.
A young woman from AC services called. Said I'm harder to find than the last cookie in the cookie jar! Said they're collecting donation for American Breast Cancer society. I said sorry not interested and hung up.
Got another call fifteen minutes later. From 916-740-1723 this time. Another young woman spoke. Said that I'm harder to find than the last pickle in the pickle jar! Said they represent Children's Cancer Research. She asked me to wait, while she handed her phone to her supervisor. I hung up.
Will wait to hear from them again. And be described as last candy in the candy jar, last chocolate bar in the chocolate jar...
