I spoke with this Indian man who told me there was a lawsuit against me. He has been calling my job non stop for months and finally I told him I was filing for bankrupcy - he didn't understand. HELLO!! Then I told him it was illegal to call me if I tell him I can't get personal calls at work. He called again and again. He actually yelled at me to stop hanging up on him and that after I took his number and my "case #" down yesterday that I would call him back today - ha! NO!! Then he tried to get my "home" number (thankfully I changed it recently) and I said sorry don't have one. Good to know this is a scam - how horrible if some elderly or other vulnerable person was to get a call like this and get scammed! Thanks everyone for posting!! Unfortunately I don't think reporting it will do any good since they are probably in India!
The person calling from the number is a scam artist! Do not give the individual your bank or personal information. They will call and harass you saying you owe them money; and all along you owe them nothing. They are out to scam you and be careful with your credentials. It's an Indian accent individual calling himself Mr. Thompkin or something to this name. He will try a scare tactic on you but do not be fooled. I'm getting harrased with the individual calling me daily but I've had them investigated and found out they are scam artist! Beware out there!
Beware out there this is a SCAM and do not provide any bank or personal information to the caller. They will try and get money from you. Do not let the caller fool you by getting money out of you. It's an individual with an Indian accent. He will try to use a scare tactic on you but do not be fooled.
