RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM 585-331-8326 SAYING I OWE A DEBT AND IF I DONT PAY I WILL BE GOING TO JAIL COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND THE HEAVY ACCENT INDIAN I THINK
WHEN I FINALLY COULD UNDERSTAND ONE I GOT THE SAME STORY AS OTHERS HERE I BORROWED MONEY FROM QUICK PAY DAY LATE LAST YEAR I DIDNT THEY HAVE ALL MY INFORMATION SS NUMBER BANKING ACCOUNTS ETC. VERY THREATENING AND TOLD ME TO SEND A FAX STATING THEY COULD TAKE THIS MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT THEY HAVE ALL MY INFORMATION BUT COULDNT GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION TO THE NAME OF ACTUAL COMPANY OR PHONE NUMBER I OWED THIS MONEY TO
I ALSO RECEIVED A CALL AROUND 5:00 A'CLOCK PM,FROM THIS NUMBER (530)328-0104 THIS HAS NEVER HAPPEND TO ME BEFORE .A GUY CALLED ME CLAIMING HE WAS A LAWYER AND LEFT ME A MESSAGE SAYING THAT I HAD COURT THIS COMING MONDAY ,HE DIDNT TELL ME WHERE .IMA KEEP CALLING BACK UNTIL HE ANSWERS ME.
Hi. These folks harassed me for 3 days a few weeks ago from this #530-230-9512 & 530-237-2233 saying they are form the Harrison Law Firm the first time and then when they called my work stated they were police officer so and so. They called yesterday and today leaving a message from this #530-328-0104.
If this is your first encounter please report them to the CA attorney general's office, your state's attorney general's office, the FBI, the FCC and finally the FTC.
When they called my work I said we were tracing the call and eventually hung up on him. He called back and said he'd pay me a million dollars if I the FBI really could trace their number or I could pay him $500 to leave me alone.
Don't fall for it and please tell your employer about this...they call your work in hopes you'll be too worried about loosing your job and that you'll give in.
Yes they may have your name, address, soc sec # and bank account information. They need you to give them permission to withdraw the money from you bank...DON'T FALL FOR IT. They will not touch your bank account without your verbal authorization; if they do, your bank and their attorney's can go after them so they won't touch it. Just ignore them and if you want, call them back and say nasty/dirty things to them about their manhood and their mother...they don't like it.
Just got a message from this company saying I owe them and that the police will pick me up in the morning at work or at home. I was really worried until I goggled. Thanks to everyone for posting and the advice.
YEA, I CALLED THE NUMBER AND TOLD THEM I SAW THEM ON 20/20 AND THAT I WAS REPORTING THEM. HE TOLD ME HE HAD MY BANK INFO AND THAT I GOT THE MONEY DEPOSITED IN JAN OF THIS YEAR...I LAUGHED AND SAID WELL, THAT'S HARD TO BELIEVE CUS I JUST OPENED THIS ACCOUNT IN JULY. SO HE HUNGED UP ON ME...LOL THIS IS A SCAM. THEY HAVE MANY PREPAID CELL NUMBERS AND THEY TRIES TO SCARE YOU FOR YOU TO GIVE IN AND SEND THEM MONEY. I READ IN ANOTHER WEB SITE THAT THE FBI AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THESE GUYS FOR YEARS. JUST REPORT THEN TO THE ATTY GENERAL OFFICE. YOU CAN NOT BE PUT IN JAIL FOR A PAYDAY LOAN. THEY CREATE FAKE PAYDAY LOANS WEBSITES, AND STEAL YOUR INFOR...LUCKY FOR ME THERE WAS A TYPO IN MY SSN...SO THEY HAVE THE WRONG SOCIAL. I CHANGED MY BANK INFO AND IN THE PROCESS OF CHANGING MY CELL NUMBER! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. BTW...WHEN HE HUNGED UP ON ME I CALLED BACK AND THE NUMBER WAS BUSY!! LOL
