I have started receiving calls from an alleged Harrison Law Firm claiming that I have a lawsuit filed against me. It was very scary because he had all my personal information. The one thing he did not have was my work number. I know that the call was fake because I have not done anything that would result in a lawsuit.
I keep getting calls 530-366-5705 saying If I don't call back there will be leagal acction taken. The man who calls its hard to understand him. They are saying they will com to my house if I don't send the money.
i got a call from them too saying theres a lawsuit filed against me claiming their name was harrison lawfirm and i called them back and left a voicemail., then they called me the next morning on a Sunday. They claimed that I won 1.5 million dollars with a cashiers check of $150,000 and a 2011 mercedes. I asked the person how did I win, He said, (oh by the way he claimed he was joe carter, but he has such a heavy accent that there is no way he could be a joe carter) I won a raffle from an application online, I didn't fill out any application online, except for a loan. I asked him what the company name was and he said it was "Global International". I did some research and they are a scam.
I just got a call from these people as well. I am getting similiar calls like this lately on my cell phone. It really is getting way out of hand. They are obviously from another country because they barely know a word of the English language and it is almost impossible to understand them. A person claiming to be John Peterson just contacted me from Harrison Law Firm claiming that there is a case against my name and social security number and told me I am in need of a criminal attorney. I gave them the name of my attorney. I am sure they will not contact her! These calls have been coming in for more than two months now. They call my cell phone, my work number, my parents and my brother.
I receive the same calls from the same #. They all say American names but have very heavy accents. From what I read, it's a scam. Don't give them your info.
Yes i been getting this call as well and today they got my SSN some how and left it on my VM, tho am not going to react to it or i may make it worse??? It's still kinda of a freaky thing how these people got my infomation with out me giving it out. Am glad my cell phone will be shut off tomorrow.
