I have a gentleman calling me also his name Kevin Foster that he is an officer and that i will be picked up and arrested for a loan of $990 dollars. that they will pick me up at my work and take me in for 3 weeks. For me to write something up and fax to them. he calls my work and i am worried of loosing my job because he will call my cell phone and work. what to do???
I to have gotten a call at my place of work from someone named Max Morris on Tues of this week, he left a message for me to return the call to this # and the company name given was Brooks & Associates. I called the # back and spoke to someone name David Jones who advised me that I had 3 felony charges pending and that the police were coming to my place of employment this morning and to my home. But if I worked with him in resolving this outstanding matter that he would put a stop on the warrants. I asked that he send me some legal documentation regarding this because this was all news to me. That was Tues and David Jones stated, had they sent something to me; maybe it went to my spam folder & I deleted it not realizing what it was. But I'm saying not if I owed someone I don't think they would leave it to chance that it would go to spam. I'm sure they would have sent in a way that I was sure to get it. Never the less I asked for something in writing something as severe as this I would need to see something before I just took his word for it. I did not hear nor receive anything. Until today when David Jones called my job and cell repeatedly. I advised him that I was aware that this was a scam and I had reported to my local authorities and it is He if fact that is going to be arrested!!!! he did not like that. I also called him from a recorded line and told him that I have forwarded all information/ voicemail messages, this telephone # and the recording of this call. There has to be a way to Stop the Madness
this Mark Robinson keeps calling to a phone number i left as reference while aplying to a job online. this guy says it's regarding a legal emergency, we hang up on him and he either makes the call again or sends another person, this time a female. is there anyway we can stop this kind of abuses instead of wasting our time in SOPA and other stuff?
These phone calls have been going on for at least 2 months, 20 plus calls. Fortunately they are calling a name that is unknown to us. I'm going to buy a whistle and use it the next time he calls! Had a call this am from a Max ? with some law firm. Heavy middle eastern accent and difficult to understand. He left mesaage with tel. number which is first time a contact number was left. We keep telling him we don't know this person and one time he asked why we didn't know that person. Another time he asked how long I had my tel. number and I told him over 30 years which he said was impossible. Maybe they are smart like a fox but they are also idiots and certainly crooks. My sentiments are with Dan Nadow's comments above, if antbody tracks them down have no mercy.
I still have this kevin foster calling me and he states he is calling from cyber crime and that if i don't pay them the money the police officer will come and get me. he would not send me and documents or anything. what to do? I don't want to pay them and find out it is a scam. i've paid out to much money to these people. He said it's for Cash Advance.
