We got voicemails from the same clown. It is a crime to falsely claim you are from the government to threaten a person with criminal prosecution or to extort payments from someone.

This can be reported to US Treasury's Office of Inspector General by filling out the online form at http://www.treasury.gov/about/organizational- ... otlineForm.aspx. They are well aware of this type of scam. If they claim to be from the IRS, it should be reported to the Treasury IG for the Tax Authority (TIGTA) at http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml.

Called my home all afternoon very concerning.

I got 2 calls. Same person, same message calling from Treasury Dept. call back to avoid prosecution. Same story as above but back to back calls the second call came from 213 455-2086

"Steve Marcus" called about problems with US Treasury department. Call for help to avoid prosecution. Smelled scammy.
