call constantly call back their box is full not accepting messages !!! ya sure. So just turne their # into the local police im marysville & yuba city , also the FTC the FBI & the Secret Service they all took my complaint & the number that has been calling they all suggested this is a scammer & they will all get back to me . Do the same & stop the calls report them to all of the above like I did.
This particular call used a Magic Jack. I called after hours and that's who has the "answering service" for this phone number. I had a chat with a Magic Jack representative who said she couldn't do anything, but would file a report. Please contact Magic Jack. Here's a little more info about the original phone number:
The phone number is registered to someone named Jeff in Oroville, CA. It is also a number registered to MagicJack.com. Do an online chat and tell them that someone is using their service to scam people and demand that they file a report.

this phone number from 530-589-8181 called this morning and left messages for my husband saying that he has taken a loan from cash advance usa. the person's name was david brown but he sounded like and indian or native and could hardly speak english.i called back and ask what this was all about because my husband has not took any loans from anyone. he told me my husband would have to pay $8000. and said he would need an attorny and go to court. he also said my husband would be put in jail for up tp 2-5 years. the guy who claims to be david brown also had my husbands ssn, email, and work phone. i want to know what we can do about this. when i called he picked up and said "Harrison Law Firm"

These are criminals. Nothing they tell you is real. There is no Harrison Law Firm...at least not at this magicjack phone number. Do not give them any information. The best thing you can do is simply hang up and report these criminals to the police.
It appears to me that this scam is connected to instant loan. Payday loans, Tax refund loans, etc. This is how they got your information. If you have recently obtained a loan of this type, report the lender to the police. The lender has sold your personal information to the criminals using this magicjack phone number to operate a scam.
