I got a call stating they was with the Childrens last wish and asking for a donation. I guess they arent making enough money as FOP. The caller said she was from PA the number was VA. Either way I think this is a bogus scam and wouldnt donate to it.
Also got a call from this #.....picked up by mistake ( I never answer a call that I don't recognize! ). The caller said they were from fraternal order of police...I hung up!!!!.
Same deal from this number just prior to 9:00 AM when have ringer off anyway. No message and from Harrisonburg. I've actually spoken to the FOP when they called other times and said no to their appeal. They can get smart-[***] and try to keep you on line or send something or pledge something. So, I assume they are [***] for this so-called non-profit. Someday, I will take time to look up FOP in Virginia to see how much they actually donate and how much goes to "administrative" costs such as high salaries for the pimps.
