I got a call stating they was with the Childrens last wish and asking for a donation. I guess they arent making enough money as FOP. The caller said she was from PA the number was VA. Either way I think this is a bogus scam and wouldnt donate to it.
Got a call that I answered saying they were the FOP around 2:45pm... told them no.....then this call that I didn't bother answering....sounding like a scam to me.....they reach you once.....then keep coming back?
no vm left but if it is the police looking for money one year I did give them money then I kept getting nasty letters stating I was going back on my word to give a donation. so I mailed them a copy of the cashed check and I still kept getting nasy letters and phone calls.
I'm having the same problem as with Bella, I have given donations in the past as well as this year, but this year I've received several calls from this number stating "according to our records, we have not received the pledge you promised" I told the lady that I did too in fact send my pledge in, it had already cleared my bank. I come home today to find this same number has called again. I'm wondering if they have any legal right in calling and harassing me for a payment I've already sent and they cashed.
They called me two times the second I got really mad ( It was in the morning) and did not answer it but I think I clicked on and I started swearing at the phone so I was hoping it was a dumb telemarketer and not a non-profit org. tell me if it was please!
