Who called from 5402884451

it is a brooklyn number but at the same time is an indian number...see my post. it is a scam. call hsbc and report it

I too got 2 of these texts today saying alert from HSBC ...etc. one was from 917-763-7723 which is from Location : ANDHRA PRADESH in India. The other is from 917 365 6746 which is from Location : GUJRAT in India. They both say to call 540 288 4451. When calling they want u to enter account info to automated system saying they are from HSBC. I did instead contact an HSBC representative from the 800 number on the back of my card and they did state that this is a fraud. They will NEVER TEXT people with any type of information. They said if anyone has questions call the number behind your card. If you gave info to another number call and tell the legit ppl

Didn't call back, just googled the number and found all of your posts.  I figured it was a scam.  Thanks for the post.
