Asked for someone at a different branch. She is on vacation this week and said he was from UPS and it was about a package being shipped to her. I gave him the number to the other branch (unfortunately I answer multiple lines at a time and can't stay with someone too long) and then looked up the number. With all the other similar stories, I called that branch and told them he is a telemarketer and they deleted the voicemail. Thick Indian accent like others have said. Now that we know, we can just hang up. The number coming in said 540-989--8392
Thick accent. Called and asked for someone who was not listed in our corporate directory. I put him on hold. He hung up, called back, got mad and said "I just called what happened?!" I said, "I put you a brief hold sir". Scam caller. I talk to people like this 75% of the day, unfortunately.
Indian guy very heavy accent named Daniel Faulkner ( yea right ) Said he was from Amazon.com. Lots of noise in background like a call center. I did not put through. Sounds like a scam to me. I've never known Amazon to call.
Man with accent claimed to be from the US Postal Service. He wanted to speak with an employee to confirm her mailing address for package delivery. I asked for the tracking number, and he hung up. Works almost every time.
Received a call from this number on my business line. Asked if this was "my full name" and I replied, "Yes it is" and they hung up. Scam callers like this try to record you saying the word "yes" so they can authorize fraudulent payment of some type. Hard to avoid, so keep an eye on your personal accounts if you've been contacted by this type of scammer.
