Recorded message with threatening wording posted by several others. Ther should be a call type "con man" since this scam has been reported by our local news stations here in TN.
I received the same message as noted about several times from this number and other numbers, I contacted the IRS and they also told me that they would never contact anyone by phone that they will send a letter contacting an individual. They asked that we report them to their fraud unit. Thank you for having this blog, because the first time they did fool me and they said that they were going to come and arrest me within the next hour and I was so afraid until I finally contacted the IRS and they told me it was a scam.
Got a threatening call from 551-497-4103. Claimed to be from Dept of the Treasury.....we were going to have to go before a judge and a Federal Court if we didnt call this # and settle up.
I have gotten one similar call about 3 months ago. I know they are a scam, but they are a terrible
