Recorded message with threatening wording posted by several others. Ther should be a call type "con man" since this scam has been reported by our local news stations here in TN.
Caller said he was David Grey from Treasury. He didn't know our name. He made some weird, vague threats involving grand juries etc and left instruction to call back.
This is a scam. Do not fall for it - they will say you owe money - that the file has been transferred to treasury - that the IRS passes the file on after 4 years - they will know your name and address - they will threaten you w a warrant for your arrest - they will give a return number - this number - they will role pretend to get a case officer on the line - then they will tell you that you can pay through a money check process. They will tell you to make it out to an IRS officer w a specific name - tell them to go @#$ themselves - that is what I did
