All regions of the new 059 area are undergoing changes to STD codes and to the individual subscriber telephone numbers. In all cases, the old 5-digit subscriber numbers will be increased to 7-digit by addition of a 2-digit prefix, as shown below. The STD code will become 059 in all cases.

I have had a few calls every day at the same time of day.

I've received a few calls from this number over the past couple of weeks. Today I answered it but there was no one there except for a weird beep. Then it hung up.

I received numerous calls fromthis number, so today I answered.
Standard recording promoting something for elderly people.
I ended the call, and then redialed the number only to get the prompt "your call cannot be complete as dialed"
Filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, though I don't know how much will be done

Thanks B for sharing.  I get calls daily from this number but never bother picking up.  Time to go in my blocked number list for a while.
