I have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months. I re-registered with the do not call list, filled several complaints with the registry, and blocked the number through my cell phone provider. After blocking the number through my provider a week went by without any calls from the number. I got two calls from this number today. I called my cell phone provider to block the number again, and they said the block was active. The customer service rep told me the people behind the number was spoofing from another number. He advised me to call the FCC. I called the FCC who directed my to the FTC. Finally, through the FTC, I was able to file a complaint. The agent told me not to press any button, or try to speak to anyone. This is an illegal spoofing scam, and apparently they can't do anything about it currently. I advise anyone else experiencing this to call 8773824357 and file a complaint about robocalls. In the event that they actually catch these guys, it would be great to see them prosecuted.
I do not see an area code on caller ID, only 059-4744, and call rejection does not work with this prefix, What next? Too many times the call has come in just as I fall asleep.
