Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

just got a message on my answering machine to call this number back. Sounded like a computer generated voice. Caller informed me that a lawsuit was filed in my name and that there are numerous warrants for my arrest regarding tax fraud. Asked me to call this number back in order to "take care about it". Message to these idiots if I was able to contact them (which I'm not) would be: if you're going to pretend to be the IRS, at least learn how to speak proper English, then maybe you'd be more successful in scamming people.
Got the message this morning. Second one in a week. I answered hoping to talk to someone, but it was just a recording. I wanted to toy with them as I have with fraudulent credit scammers. It's a hoot. I do the who's on first routine with them. Who is this, I don;t know, who is this. Tell me your name. You called me, why don;t you know my name? On and on till they just hang up.
Beware of Fraudent, IRS Tax Call. They CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE. Today I decided to answer and this foreign speaking man said he was with the IRS and I owe the government tax money and they were going to keep my social security check until my case was cleared up. Telling him that I was not the person they were looking for and told hm that he didn't sound like an IRS agent but a guy in a large telephone call center trying to scam people. HE ABRUPTLY HUNG UP THE PHONE AND WOULDN'T ANSWER WHEN I CALLED HIS NUMBER (5719322012) .
I GOT THE SAME CALL TOO;
SOMEBODY NEEDS TO REPORT TO FBI; THEY NEED TO FIND THESE SCAMBAGS AND PUT THEM IN FEDERAL PRISON FOR LIFE. THE NUMBER IS 571 932 2012
