Just received a call, but it came up as +58 02336186 as if it were a from a foreign exchange. I did not pick up and no message was left, so I blocked it.
Got 2 calls from this number today. First one hung up, second asked about my car. Both are violating the Do Not Call List, and have been reported to the FCC. They don't seem to care though, as nothing is ever done about anybody I report.
Got the same kind of call myself a few minutes ago. Got a creepy feeling when they wanted me to go on my computer and check updates, etc. and I told them my system was OK and I didn't need any help and hung up. Sounded like they wanted to get access to my computer.
I called Southwestern Bell to report the Number. They looked it up and it didn't show up anywhere. If anyone can figure out how to track this down let me know.
They called today trying to re-fi my home. When I asked the name of their company, I could never get a clear answer. Too hard to understand this person. He just wanted information about my home. Couldn't answer any questions or hold a two way conversation only said "We're only trying to help you maam". Just wanted answers to his questions pretending he was a loan officer. I hung up on him. Called back the number and it is dis-connected.
