Just received a call, but it came up as +58 02336186 as if it were a from a foreign exchange. I did not pick up and no message was left, so I blocked it.
Called twice on June 10th and once so far on June11. Chris ( June 11th call) wants to refinance my non-existing mortgage. Name of company given was Flagship Lending but don't know if this is correct since the phone number that shows is not in service.
This is another case of a telemarketer spoofing a number. Unfortunately at this time there is nothing that can be done about it. Telemarketers are ahead of the curve and getting around the do not call list.
Just got a call from a guy claiming my computer was generating viruses and warnings on their servers and that they were calling to help me resolve the problem. He said they were located in Connecticut and that they were known as the Geek Crew or something. He had a very thick Asian-Indian accent. He hung up on me when I confronted him and stated my computer has the latest anti-virus software running followed by several choice words questioning his lineage and integrity. Hate these people who prey on the unsuspecting.
