Recd a call threatening to take me to court over a payday loan that was taken over 10 years ago. I've since filed bankruptcy and they tried to tell me that this didn't qualify. They said that my atty would have to contact them. And said they've attempted to contact me at places I've never lived or worked. They also said that they were collecting for a company that provided the money to the payday loan place but couldn't tell me who the payday loan company was. Contacted my atty, he said that he won't call because it's a scam and the fact that I've filed bankruptcy and that this is over 10 years old.
Got voicemail about some fraud claim, civil suit, blah, blah, blah. No loan, no outstanding debt so I can only assume this is some sort of scam. Especially when there are 3 different numbers involved ... Call came in from 231-245-1633. Voicemail left callback # of 404-400-7603 and recording lists # of 586-382-9121. geesh.
Ditto to every thing listed in all the previous posts, I told Monica she can blow into my bag pipe, she was furious then hung up and called me back and said you will be served, F- em !
