These guys go around claiming that they are protecting customers and will sue debt collectors when in fact they are debt collectors tricking you then suing you. THEY ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH..
Bogus debt collector from an unknown "law firm". A non-English speaking woman called from this number (586-464-2243) claiming to be collecting a debt and asking for the last 4 of my SS number. I have no debts and I certainly do not give out my private info to scammers. If these people call you, DO NOT cooperate.
Not a scam. It's a (not bogus!) debt collection law firm that sues debtors for past due debts. They never claim to sue debt collectors- they collect FOR debt collectors. They must confirm last 4 digits of your SSN to verify they are speaking with the correct party. You're better off speaking to these people regarding your account than ignoring the call anytime they call. Oh, and the foreigners? It's call outsourcing, people. Read up before you talk.
Where did they claim that? Their website states:

Sounds like a debt collection law firm to me.
