There is a fraudulent charge on my credit card from RVO law in Michigan for $400. I have never done business with this company or given them any credit card information. I reported it as a fraudulent charge to my bank who will take it from here. My bank gave me a phone number of 586-868-2737 which is also listed on their website, which of course is a nonworking number for this fake company who apparently like to scam and take advantage of people. I'm also reporting them to all the consumer protection agencies I can possibly find. They are SCUM!!!!
It's funny the business address is also for a company called Web Equity Holdings, LLC, of which it says Carl Varchetti is also an employee. They have lawsuits filed against them for fraudulent collections attempts.
Thanks, it is probably a shell corporations, although I did just now pull up an FDCPA case against Web Equity Holding and RVO, and the prinicipals of RVO I'm not sure what it was about other than a motion to dismiss, but I will read it later. I may have to revise my report on these crooks again to reflect this other company name. In any case you certainly have cause for an FDCPA lawsuit, and you most certainly should take the time to report them to the agencies that I have listed in my other post. All the agencies.
