got the same call from this number. And the person would not reply almost like a message. He didn't ask for anyone by name, but urged that I, or my attorney call him back or else I would be sorry, and that he wished me "Good luck" If I did not do as I was told. And we followed his instruction and paid $4000.00 and he mentioned that we have to pay more $13000/- in order to release are immigration which has been cancelled. He said his name was Kevin Anderson from CRA and Mark Lapou from police. As we were talking to him were sounds of people in the background like a call center or something. Any way we ended up in police station before sending $13000/ and we found out that it was fake. We tried to block the money we sent and we were able to save $2000/.
Got the same caller. he left a msg in very broken english. I called back and he was claiming to be calling from the CRA. definitely sounded like a scam because the CRA would never call like that.
A guy left a message with broken English..
"... call from CRA..... It is time sensitive call blabla. .... this is officer Adam blabla...."
He didnt mention any one of my family member names but urge me to call back.
Call from officer Adam Todd (?) same number with a time sensitive issue and to call back or get my attorney to call back or else... good luck. Nothing specifically threatening. Called twice with the identical message so must be a recording.
got the same call. Phoned the number back all l got was busy and a recording that said for $3.00 dollars they would let me know it was no longer busy very 1\2 hour you pay them $3.00
Got the exact same call. I called him back and demanded what the call was regarding. He told me something I couldn't understand. When I told him there was no one here by that name, he got mad and asked me why I asked what it was regarding for then he called me an A"@hole and hung up. He is definitely no CRA officer!
