I got caught the same way. I just hope no one's info gets stolen. And with all these reports why hasn't he been tracked or caught? They took his add down but it has reappeared in a different way.
He's still out there listing the ad in DC. Why is this guy still allowed, after nearly at least a year, to still have access to an internet...he should be in jail.
Scam. Just emailed this man yesterday about a condo for $600 a month in downtown DC so I was suspicious to begin with because that's a ridiculously low price for the area. He emailed me back today but the craigslist posting has since been taken down. He seems nice to begin with because his emails are very detailed and he tells you about his wife and kids and gives you a phone number. But the way the emails are worded comes off more creepy than reassuring. Trust your instincts, if it seems too good to be true then it probably is.. unfortunately.
OMG!!! This guy was supposed to email us the lease form tomorrow. I thank God I trusted my instincts and googled this number. A house that was sold in 2012 for almost 500K, how could be listed for 600? Damn someone needs to get this guy real bad.
