Got a call from them. They are selling toner - new toner with free shipping. The price was higher than the place I get them from so did not give them any business. They did offer to ship the toner to try for 30 days before paying, but, again, what I am using works fine so no need to switch. Had no problem with salesperson on phone.
Called and asked me what kind of toner I use, I told them and they quoted me a price that was around the price I pay. Asked them if it was a aftermarket or genuine or refills product. He then proceeded to get angry with me when I told him that we only buy genuine products because we have had bad luck in the past then hung up on me we didn't even give his product a chance.
Actually got a polite cold call. I told him we weren't interested because the company that rents us our printers also supplies the toners. "Chris" was nice about it. I'm not a troll or a shill for the company - I deal with a-holes every day on the phone, but this guy was polite. I would never do business with a company that cold calls or tries to solicit business over the phone. It's just so unusual to get someone that acts like a decent person that I thought it was worth mentioning.
I am soooo excited by the idea of talking to polite cold caller I am just tingling from head to tippy-toes!!
You would never do business with a company that clod calls or tries to solicit business over the phone - but it is OK if you have that phone number handy so that I can call? Delighted, I'm sure!!
